Traffic equals income. Long before I got the nerve up to learn how to build a website…I read, read, read. E-books
that I had purchased years ago …I still use. Except now I really understand. Almost everyone
comprehends better with the hands on approach. I sure do.
I could read all day about how to add links, banners and ads and still not understand why they were on the pages.
But while I am in the action of adding ads, links or banners….a light bulb goes off! So that’s the reason I see certain ads and such on websites!
Now that I have a few pages of content up on our newly built website. I have one large problem I am the only person visiting it. I must drive traffic in order to generate an income. Traffic equals income. As I continue to learn….I have found many ways to boost traffic and sales.
Paid advertising
In my signature I added the link to my Lotto Magic page. I have several signatures set up Including our website link and a link to my SBI! website referral. You will not believe how many visits you will get from the simple addition to your e-mail. Another simple way to promote your site or product is Business Cards. This is not absolutely free
but it is close!

The free designs are really nice. Of course you may upgrade, the prices are very reasonable. I ordered 250 cards for shipping only! That was less than $6.00. VistaPrint is my new favorite website! Love those Freebies. I keep a supply of cards with me at all times. I leave a few where ever I go. Many stores have bulletin boards. These are very good places to promote your website or product. When I shop I leave them on shelves. Leave a couple on the table at your restaurant. While shipping a package I place one on the table at the Post Office.
For years I have read online classified ads and money maker forums. This was the perfect place to begin my promotion. After all I had stumbled upon Lotto magic while reading a Yahoo message board. Lotto Magic has been one of my best money making finds. Another reason I began here is the fact I have absolutely no advertising budget! Most online
classifieds and forums are free. Google free online classifieds, there are hundreds.

Most every night I post five to ten free ads on the internet. Now instead of promoting only Lotto Magic, I also add a link to our website. How’s that for getting two birds with one stone?

I never could get over how many visitors my husbands products on eBay received. Hundreds of visitors over the course of a few days. After reading an eBook which explained ways to take advantage of your eBay visitor traffic. I decided to build my husband a page and incorporate his eBay items into it.
I went to eBay and signed up, for free, as an eBay Partner. Scroll to page bottom, click Site Map, then under Community Programs, Click on eBay Affiliate Program and JOIN FREE! This account includes all types of banners, links and widgets. I designed one that would only show my husbands items. You can design links and widgets that will show only products that directly relate to your website context. As I have stated before most of this website stuff is waaaay over my head as a beginner. This account keeps up with your link activity in-depth. It will take me a while to decipher all the reports, but give me another year, I may be a pro! I was signing up as an eBay partner just to be able to link my husband’s items to our website. Later, about a week after I had his page built. I went to my eBay Partner account page to check my zero’s, but to my surprise we had made $27.00! From zero to $27.00 in about a week! If you sell anything on eBay, be sure
