Online Survey
Have you ever filled out a survey? Back in the day, before everybody and their brother had a computer, they would arrive by mail. The forms were usually very long. The questions were about household ages, income level and products used. In return for my time, I would receive various coupons for products my information had shown I might be interested in. That was nice , but money would have been better!
When I began using the internet, random invitations came by way of pop-up ads. I never closed them ! I enjoyed having my opinion heard. Especially if the survey was for a product that I loved or occasionally didn’t love! As a reward for my feedback , there would be some type of discount coupon code to be used toward purchase of a product or service.
One afternoon I entered SURVEY in Google Search. Click Here There were hundreds of ads for online surveys for money. That day I was lazy. Rather than research all of them myself, I decided to pay for a list.
The list included many sites . All were free to sign up to become a member. My laziness cost me $34.95!
The original reason I joined was for the sweepstakes entries. My sisters were contest nuts. They won all sorts of cash prizes and gift cards. The only problem with paper entries was the manual work of submitting your information, addressing envelopes and the cost of materials and postage. Online was FREE. No Paper, no handwriting or stamps!
I haven’t had as much luck with the sweepstakes as my sisters. My biggest win to date is a pair of Rocking chairs from Cracker Barrel. The retail value was $175.00 each! Just think, I won those two beautiful rockers, in exchange for answering a few questions about my dining experience at Cracker Barrel. Time involved …about two minutes.
I am not saying entering online isn’t time consuming also. When I first began it was the pits! My internet access was through dial-up. It never failed…I would be almost finished with an extra long questionnaire…..
There goes my connection. Kicked off again! I could only submit a few per day.
Later, I upgraded to DSL connection and finally Cable internet.
Cable internet is Super Fast.
Some days I complete 10 or more.
One of my first invitations requested an evaluation of a Brita Home Water Filtration Pitcher.
This turned out to be a win win situation. As reward for my opinion I received a
Brita Water Filtration Pitcher and Brita gained a new customer. I love the product, use it daily and buy the replacement filters every couple of months.
Surveys may not make you rich quick.
However, small payments, a nice gift here and there and the free products do add up. Oh and don’t forget you may win that sweepstakes prize! Wouldn’t a $25,000.00 prize be exciting?
I never really kept up with all the reward points I was acquiring….. I wanted the sweeps entries!
Boy, did I get a nice surprise when I decided to check out what I could redeem all those forgotten points for!!!!!!
